“Heal the land, heal the people: Heal the people, heal the land”- C. Hylton
We believe access to natural, fresh food; equitable food systems; and economic empowerment can only truly be attained through land, education, and community. We are creating spaces for reconnection, reconciliation, and cultivation with land and people.
The Regenerative Institute of Community Education is committed to fostering vibrant community development through innovative education for sustainable development (ESD) frameworks. With a rich history spanning over 30 years in sustainable development, our dedicated members possess a profound depths of experience and expertise. We are passionate advocates for local food systems and champions of land justice, working collaboratively to empower communities and promote equitable access to resources. Our mission is to inspire and educate individuals and groups, cultivating a sustainable future that respects both people and the planet.
R.I.C.E. Georgia is addressing climate change concerns through quality food systems education, technical assistance, networking and through regenerative land stewardship demonstrations.
We offer hands on learning opportunities through our education programs that make connections between land, food, health, and our freedom.
We promote using land in ways that renew, restore and generate fertile grounds for growing food for communities. We promote access to land through farmer apprenticeship, education and demonstration activities.
We support the improvement of social, economic and spiritual wellbeing of communities. We consider all systems (living and nature) to be interconnected and seek to maintain balance through alignment with ecological systems
We uplift intergenerational stories and ways of being in relationship to land. We gather and analyze stories of connections and work to make visible the environmental perspectives.
