Education, Land & Community

We believe thriving communities grow from healthy land, nourished people, and knowledge shared across generations. We are committed to land stewardship, caring for soil, water, forests and open community spaces, not just as resources, but as living systems that sustain all life.

We support and advocate for local food systems by empowering people to grow, distribute, and eat food that is healthy, socially harmonious, and ecologically sound. Through hands-on learning, apprenticeships, and experiential programs we support communities and nurture future leaders grounded in ecological responsibility and community well-being.

Education is a practice of freedom.- bell hooks

Land as Freedom: Land is the source of physical and spiritual wealth and generational stability.

R.I.C.E. Georgia is addressing climate change concerns through quality food systems education, technical assistance, networking and through regenerative land stewardship demonstrations.

We offer hands on learning opportunities through our education programs that make connections between land, food, health, and our freedom.

Regenerative land use management

We promote using land in ways that renew, restore and generate fertile grounds for growing food for communities. We promote access to land through farmer apprenticeship, education and demonstration activities.

HEALTH & WELLNESS

We support the improvement of social, economic and spiritual wellbeing of communities. We consider all systems (living and nature) to be interconnected and seek to maintain balance through alignment with ecological systems

environmental heritage

We uplift intergenerational stories and ways of being in relationship to land. We gather and analyze stories of connections and work to make visible the environmental perspectives.

education for Regenerative development

We facilitate experiential learning directly related to development. Regenerative Education is concerned with both human and natural systems. We see education as a way to solve historical, present and future problems.
